Popeye the Sailor Meets Sindbad the Sailor is a 1936 two-reel animated cartoon short produced by Max Fleischer for Fleischer Studios, Inc. and directed by Dave Fleischer. Rokh the giant bird was sent to wreck Popeye’s boat and kidnap Olive Oyl. Popeye attempts to rescue her while J. Wellington Wimpy follows a duck around with a meat-grinder. After Popeye disposes of Rokh and Sindbad’s two-headed giant named Boola, Brutus and Popeye battle it out.
